All customers need to do is dial *222# on any mobile phone or visit www.maxis.com.my/ikhlas to discover more than 30 Islamic products and services which is available all year-round. Customers can access these services across all devices in a variety of forms such as SMS, MMS, apps, video, audio and ebooks, which can be read on iPads, Android devices and PCs.
Customers will receive Free Imsak and Buka Puasa times via SMS during the Ramadan month
With Salam Ikhlas, customers can receive Takaful Protection, offering customers peace of mind knowing that they are covered by a Takaful plan
Key services under Salam Ikhlas 2012 include free imsak and ‘buka puasa’ times, where customers are provided with free alerts yearly allowing them to stay informed of the exact times during the holy month of Ramadan. Another key service is mZakat, a channel for busy Maxis customers in Selangor, Sabah, Kedah, Perlis, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan and Melaka, who can fulfill their religious obligation during the month of Ramadan by contributing their zakat payment via SMS.
Maxis Head of Marketing Strategy, Shanti Jusnita Johari said, “We introduced Salam Ikhlas back in 2008 with free Ramadan and Haj content. We have now expanded our range of offerings which our customers can access conveniently at their fingertips, either at home, work or on the go. Apart from free Imsak and Buka Puasa times alerts and mZakat, we are also offering Ramadan Videos, Takaful protection, relevant mobile content through Tazkirah Portal and much more,” added Shanti.
Meanwhile, Android and Blackberry users can sign up for a free Loker personal cloud account with 5GB of storage space to save and back up all their videos and pictures especially during the upcoming festive season.
