Malaysia’s first flagship fintech event, MyFintech Week 2019 (MyFW2019), will take place from 17 to 21 June 2019 in Sasana Kijang, Kuala Lumpur. This event is held in conjunction with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)’s Malaysia Tech Week 2019.
MyFW2019 aims to promote growth and diversity in the fintech ecosystem, spur digital transformation of financial institutions, drive responsible innovation in fintech, and elevate public acceptance of fintech. With the theme “Shifting
Tides: Future of Finance”, MyFW 2019 will focus on five key areas i.e. Financial Inclusion (FI), Digital Economy, Insurtech, Islamic Finance and Cybersecurity.
These topics will be deliberated in more than 30 keynotes, panels and fireside chats during this event by more than 100 visionary and leading voices in the world of fintech under one roof. In addition, more than 40 exhibitors from the industry and around the region will showcase their fintech products and services at the concurrent exhibition.
MyFW2019 will feature many exciting and provocative topics and presentations such as:
The Promise of Fintech for ASEAN; A World of Legacy and Disruption; Can Technology Deliver (enough)?; Cyberproof Yourself; A Tale of Two: Partnership Between Fintechs and Financial Institutions as well as the Digitalisation of Islamic Finance, amongst others.
