SEEBURGER Earns HP Converged Infrastructure Ready Certification

SEEBURGER, a leading global business integration and enterprise class Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions provider, announces that the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite, its industry-first unified platform for secure trading partner communications and managed file transfer, has earned the HP Converged Infrastructure Ready partner certification.

This signifies compatibility with HP’s hybrid IT delivery architecture. The certification follows SEEBURGER’s acceptance into the HP AllianceONE Partner Program, which is designed to ensure that complementary third-party solutions operate reliably in HP Converged Infrastructure environments spanning traditional IT, private, managed and public clouds.

The HP Converged Infrastructure Ready program allows partners to take advantage of the HP Converged Infrastructure architecture to deliver industry-leading solutions after extensive testing and validation of their applications and support.

SEEBURGER’s new HP certification expands on a relationship announced in March involving the new HP cCell Services platform, a pay-per-use, HP-managed ‘cloud in a box’ that can be deployed in the customer’s own data center to avoid capital outlays and maintain data on company premises. Under that agreement, the SEEBURGER File Exchange (SEE FX) component of the SEEBURGER suite will be built into HP’s forthcoming cCell box to provide secure, traceable and compliant user-to-user file sharing for files of any size, including those that exceed email attachment limitations.

“Enterprises that are moving to hybrid IT delivery models like HP Converged Infrastructure to achieve better business agility need assurance that the building blocks they put into place will offer rapid and cost-effective deployment, interoperability and optimized performance, whether in a private, managed or public cloud. That’s why HP’s Converged Infrastructure-Ready certification of our business integration platform is significant,” said Rohit Khanna, EVP, Global Strategy and Corporate Development, at SEEBURGER.

Organizations that utilize the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite can solve complex integration needs with powerful capabilities not available from other solutions. The suite uniquely offers:

  • A single modular platform that supports multiple business integration functions including trading partner communications, managed file transfer and application integration, providing single-vendor accountability as well as eliminating the need for multiple point solutions that add deployment and management overhead.
  • One consolidated view of all data exchange activity – including system-to-system, system-to-human and human-to-human file transfer as well as structured B2B/EDI transaction messages such as purchase orders – for easy auditing, streamlined administration, increased visibility for governance and regulatory compliance, and lower total cost of ownership.
  • Tight integration of all components with SAP, enabling seamless transaction message generation, validation and tracking for supply chain communications; secure SAP file sharing both inside and outside the firewall; end-to-end automation of order-to-cash processes from order entry and verification to delivery, invoicing and receipt of payment; and more.
  • Support for unlimited file sizes as well as rules-based routing and workflow, automated policy-based content filtering for data loss protection (DLP), encryption, authentication, and checkpoint and restart capabilities to keep files secure in transit and at rest.

Deploying the SEEBURGER platform and other certified solutions within the HP Converged Infrastructure enables organizations to overcome IT sprawl and accelerate IT for faster time to value by bringing all server, storage and networking resources together into a common pool with common management tools, policies and processes. The resulting shared services environment facilitates cloud computing and virtualization, allows IT workloads to move seamlessly between different service models, accelerates application deployment, reduces energy needs, and shifts IT spend away from operations to enable a focus on new business projects that drive competitive advantage.
