Touch ‘N Go Enables “PayDirect” at Participating Highways

Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd and TNG Digital Sdn Bhd announced the launch of “PayDirect” specifically for toll payments across participating highways in Klang Valley, to provide flexible toll payment method for motorists.

“PayDirect” is a feature that can be enjoyed by users who have added their physical Touch ‘n Go (TnG) card to their eWallet. Once “PayDirect” is activated, users can utilise the added card to tap the reader or through SmartTAG at toll lanes with fares deducted directly from the Touch ‘n Go eWallet in their mobile phones.

Syahrunizam Samsudin, CEO of TNG Digital Sdn Bhd said, “We are innovating to expand our product portfolio to deliver value and convenience for our users. We want Malaysians to rethink the seamlessness of urban mobility by having toll transactions conveniently deducted from their mobile phones. With “PayDirect”, it’s always Terus Go.”

“We want to help Malaysians transact digitally and enjoy a frictionless on-the-road journey. We’re focused on creating a sustainable, future-looking approach towards urban mobility by using technology to enhance the user experience. “PayDirect” is our first stride in 2019 to bring secure payments powered by the Touch ‘n Go eWallet to handheld devices for mobility payments,” Syahrunizam added.

In conjunction with the introduction of “PayDirect”, users of the eWallet can enjoy 20% rebates for up to 10 times for toll fares when they add their physical TnG card to the eWallet. This rebate offer runs from 21 February to 30 June 2019. In addition to this, users will also be able to provide an identifier for their cards, view their transaction history, check their card balance, and email their statements for up to 90-days.
