YTL Comm- Most Innovative Service Provider of the Year

YTL Communications Sdn Bhd, a global frontrunner in mobile 4G, earned another prestigious accolade by winning the “Most Innovative Service Provider of the Year” in the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner at the Shangri-la Hotel, Singapore for its Yes – Malaysia’s fastest 4G mobile Internet with voice service.

Almost 18 months into its commercial operations, the win for Yes comes as a clear acknowledgement that Malaysia is at the forefront of the world when it comes to the adoption of next-generation, innovative 4G wireless technologies.

The Yes 4G service is a mobile internet platform that facilitates rapid and continuous innovation unlike any other in the world, offering a ground breaking architecture that gives users unmatched performance, convenience and cost savings by bringing together mobile broadband, mobile telephony (voice and SMS) and cloud-based services across multiple devices, all in a single Yes account.

“We designed our Yes 4G network from ground up with a converged all-IP architecture to deliver high fidelity mobile Internet performance complete with telco-grade voice and video telephony. We pioneered an identity-based network architecture that enables all these services to be accessible to customers with a single Yes ID, resulting in superior convenience and cost savings. Each Yes ID is linked to a Malaysian mobile number, resulting in an elegant convergence of the worlds of Internet and telephony ,” said Wing K. Lee, CEO of YTL Communications.
