Southeast Asia is moving rapidly from AI experimentation toward deployment. A 2026 study by McKinsey, the Singapore Economic Development Board, and Tech in Asia found that 81% of companies across six Southeast Asian markets have moved beyond AI experimentation into piloting or scaling. As AI adoption advances, businesses face a new challenge: deploying and managing AI across different workloads while balancing performance, cost, security, and governance.
Against this backdrop, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat, IOH) and F5 announced a strategic partnership to expand access to enterprise AI through the Indosat Intelligence Suite. The platform provides a trusted and governed environment that simplifies how businesses access and deploy AI, without requiring them to build and manage complex infrastructure themselves.
The Indosat Intelligence Suite builds on Indosat’s full-stack AI ecosystem in Indonesia, spanning energy, data centers, compute, connectivity, and AI models. Through its partnership with F5, Indosat is extending this foundation into an enterprise-ready platform that connects AI infrastructure and models with businesses across the region.
The Indosat Intelligence Suite brings multiple AI models and infrastructure capabilities together through a single interface, giving businesses greater visibility and control over how they use AI. It is designed to help organizations select and deploy the intelligence suited to their specific workloads while maintaining the security and governance required for production environments.
Vikram Sinha, President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, said, “As AI moves from experimentation into everyday business, companies need more than access to models, they need a trusted way to put intelligence into production. With the full stack AI as the foundation, Indosat Intelligence Suite will become an intelligence factory for businesses, helping businesses access the right intelligence for their needs and scale it securely across the region.”
“Indosat is building the region’s AI future, and F5 is proud to secure and optimize it. Together, we are making advanced AI accessible, and safe for every business.” said François Locoh-Donou, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer at F5. “Indosat Intelligence Suite addresses this through one governed layer between enterprise applications and the AI infrastructure underneath. Businesses can access, route, measure and manage AI consumption across multiple models without having to build and manage every underlying layer themselves.”
Intelligence, Optimized for Every Workload
As businesses move AI into production, managing multiple models and providers requires balancing performance, cost, latency, security, and governance. This is especially critical in regulated sectors where data residency and security can determine whether AI can scale. The Intelligence Suite simplifies this by bringing together more than 300 open and closed AI models in a single interface, including Sahabat-AI, Indosat-hosted models, and connected global models.
- The right model for each workload. Built-in intelligence routes requests based on cost, quality and latency, so businesses can match workloads to the model best suited to the task.
- One catalogue, one interface. Local, Indosat-hosted and global models can be accessed through the same platform, supporting local-language, dedicated and advanced reasoning use cases.
- Economics enterprises can plan around. Tokens are converted into credits that can be allocated across models, applications and teams, providing a consolidated view of consumption and spending.
- Infrastructure security and optimization powered by F5. F5 BIG-IP Next for Kubernetes supports tenant isolation and container security, while dynamic, GPU-aware load balancing is designed to improve latency, including Time to First Token (TTFT) and overall token throughput.
The platform offers Pay as You Go, Unified Enterprise Credit and Dedicated Capacity, supporting different requirements from developers and growing businesses to enterprises, government and regulated organizations. 50 businesses and organizations are targeted at launch, with early access for promotional price available throughout the year.
“Enterprises are hitting a wall trying to move AI from pilot to production because they need to balance rapid innovation with sovereignty, governance and cost predictability,” said Chad Whalen, Chief Revenue Officer at F5. “By bringing together Indosat’s platform and in-market reach with F5’s experience in securing AI workloads and APIs at scale, we can help enterprises across region consume intelligence that is trusted, secure and optimized for what each of them actually needs.”
For organizations with data residency requirements, Sahabat-AI and Indosat-hosted tiers can process workloads in-market, while policies determine which workloads may be routed to global models. Requests can also be authenticated, metered and logged through an auditable ledger. The Intelligence Suite incorporates the F5 AI Security platform capabilities to support protection against OWASP Top 10 LLM threats, data leakage and other emerging AI-specific threats. The launch marks the next step in Indosat’s AI journey: building not only AI capacity for Indonesia and the region, but the way to use it. By connecting infrastructure, models and enterprise demand, the Intelligence Suite can help businesses put growing AI capacity to work and support wider AI adoption and economic value across the region.
The Indosat Intelligence Suite is available from today at intelligencesuite-ai.ioh.co.id, where enterprises can review the model catalogue, pricing and documentation and request access.
