Ensign and SpaceX Super Intelligence collaborate on enterprise AI deployment capabilities

Ensign InfoSecurity (“Ensign”) has joined the SpaceXSI Partner Network to help organisations turn the potential of AI-assisted software development into working applications designed around their business needs.

Under the partnership, Ensign aims to train an initial cohort of about 50 software engineering and technology specialists, on Grok Build, SpaceXSI’s AI-enabled software development platform. The training will strengthen Ensign’s capabilities across internal innovation and customer use cases. For customer engagements, trained specialists will serve as Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) working within customers’ environments to understand their requirements and build software for specific use cases.

The initiative also comes at a time when demand for FDEs is growing in Singapore, reflecting a wider need for professionals who can combine software engineering expertise with an understanding of business and operational requirements. By developing this capability within Ensign, the partnership will help expand the pool of specialists able to move AI-assisted software development from experimentation into practical use.

Ensign is the first Singapore-headquartered company to join the SpaceXSI Partner Network as a Grok Build FDE services partner.

The partnership addresses a common challenge in enterprise AI adoption. While organisations are increasingly experimenting with AI coding tools, moving from individual use to applications that work across a business requires more than access to the technology. Companies must identify where AI can deliver value, adapt it to their operations and integrate the resulting applications into existing systems and workflows.

Ensign’s FDEs will work directly with customer teams, from defining the problem and developing the application to testing it within the customer’s environment. By embedding engineers with customers, this model shortens the journey from an initial idea to a working solution.

Beyond developing applications using Grok Build, customers can also draw on Ensign’s deep cybersecurity expertise in areas such as data protection, access controls, risk assessments and secure software development practices, where relevant to their engagement.

“Many organisations have begun experimenting with AI coding tools. As AI becomes better at writing code, it becomes even more important to understand what is worth building,” said Charles Ng, Chief Executive Officer, Ensign InfoSecurity. “Enterprise applications must fit the way a business operates, its systems, requirements and users. Our engineers will work directly with customers to understand the

problems they are trying to solve and build applications that work within their environments. This ability to connect technology with business needs is at the heart of the Forward Deployed Engineer model. The focus is not simply on adopting another AI tool, but on creating practical business outcomes.”

The partnership will cover not only customer engagements in Singapore but will leverage Ensign’s presence throughout Asia to extend the capability across the region and into multiple industries.

“Enterprises are looking for practical ways to scale AI-assisted software development across their teams and operations,” said Toni Adams Head of Partnerships at SpaceXSI. “Ensign’s regional presence, customer relationships and delivery capabilities make it a strong partner to support this ambition. Together, we can extend access to Grok Build and help more organisations adopt the platform effectively across Asia.
