Singapore, 16 September 2026 – Anthropic is expanding across Asia-Pacific, driven by strong enterprise demand for Claude. The company now has offices in Tokyo, Bengaluru, Seoul, and Sydney. In October, Anthropic will open an office in Singapore, marking its fifth in the region. Senior Anthropic leaders will visit for the opening and meet with customers, partners, and policymakers.
Singapore is already a standout market for Claude. According to Anthropic’s most recent Economic Index, Singapore ranks second out of 121 countries in Claude.ai usage relative to population. Usage is 5.81 times higher than would be expected based on the size of its population.

It has also set out an ambitious vision to harness AI to transform industries and strengthen workforce capabilities, while placing a strong emphasis on responsible adoption. That balance between innovation and safety aligns closely with Anthropic’s approach. The company looks forward to working with policymakers, research institutions, and industry partners to advance these shared priorities.
In Singapore, Anthropic will work with organizations of every size—from startups and digital natives to large enterprises and the public sector. Demand has been especially strong in regulated sectors, such as financial services and government.
To help lead that work, Dale Finlay has joined Anthropic as General Manager of ASEAN. Based in Singapore, he will work with customers and partners across Southeast Asia. Finlay has held go-to-market leadership roles at technology companies across Asia-Pacific—including nearly a decade at Google Cloud in roles spanning AI, financial services, and enterprise.
“From working with customers across Southeast Asia, I’ve seen that ambition isn’t the blocker to AI adoption—trust is. Once that trust exists, the real work is embedding AI into how the business actually operates,” said Finlay. “Anthropic has built Claude around exactly those standards, and I look forward to working with customers here as they bring Claude into their most important work.”
