Brightree Solutions Sdn Bhd is making strong inroads throughout Malaysia with SAP® Hybris® Cloud for Customer, SAP’s cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) application.
At its Cloud Innovation Day event held in Penang recently, Brightree co-managing partner Phuah Ewe Cheng announced that the company had signed up KDU Penang University College, and CG Computers as early adopters of the solution.
“What we’ve discovered is that customers are beginning to embrace SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer, as they find it more complete, robust and mature over other CRM applications,” said Phuah, adding that the solution also comes with prepackaged integration capabilities to SAP’s enterprise resource management software and on-premise CRM, together with mobile interfaces and strong social features.
“As a result of its innovative features coupled with our continuous outreach to companies in Malaysia, we find momentum for this solution is moving faster than we had initially expected,” Phuah added. With over six years in the Malaysia market, Brightree has built a strong client base and will continue to make inroads into businesses throughout Malaysia with the SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer solution.
Brightree is an SAP platinum partner as well as a member of the United VARs (value-added resellers), which prides itself as “a name you can trust on delivering everything SAP has to offer.”
“At Brightree we power digital transformation through SAP software,” said Phuah. “Quite often, close relationships with customers are considered a company’s most important asset, and SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer solution is the ‘sweet spot’ that makes it all happen,” he added.
Meanwhile, SAP Malaysia managing director Terrence Yong said that the company is very focused on its “Cloud First” strategy to empower customers to become more productive and efficient.
“Our SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer solution was designed with a ‘cloud first, mobile first’ approach to meet the requirements of today’s sales and service professionals who need information about customers any time and in any location. The focus is on ease of use and getting more production out of the tool rather than spending time entering information,” he added.
Thumbs up from early adopters of SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer
Early adopters are already giving the thumbs up for the SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer solution.
CG Computers co-founder Peggy Tan is confident that the adoption of the solution will empower the company to embark on targeted email and social media campaigns, while also providing precious insights into customer buying patterns.
“We are not just in the business of selling products. Rather, we help provide customers with their desired lifestyle experiences,” said Tan. CG Computer owns Switch – an Apple Premium Reseller – together with multiple retail brands such as Urban Republic and Erafone
Meanwhile, KDU Vice Chancellor Dr. B.K. Chong said, “As the leading education institute in Malaysia’s northern region, we consider customer relations to be of utmost importance, and we would like to engage our prospective students via the channel of their choice.”
“With the SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer solution, 6-star rated KDU Penang University College now has a most conducive platform to interact with students across multiple channels. We believe this will accelerate our student recruitment process. At the same time, our counsellors are also able to run student campaigns while performing administrative tasks such as obtaining admission details and others,” said Dr. Chong.
Empowering businesses to realise their fullest potential within today’s digital economy
With such glowing endorsements from end customers, SAP’s Yong summed it up aptly: “What SAP brings to the table is the platform to empower businesses to realise their fullest potential within today’s digital economy. SAP is at the forefront of 26 various industries, and we can help SMEs learn from larger enterprises such as streamlining their operational processes and improving their effectiveness.”
“As businesses themselves grow, they need to ‘institutionalise’ their systems so that business models are sustainable. They need to automate their processes for greater productivity and accuracy,” he added. “Done correctly, margins should increase and the extra profit could then be passed on to customers, making businesses much more competitive in the process.”
Meanwhile, Brightree’s Phuah said that the company has to date helped companies from various industries in Malaysia and beyond modernise their legacy software: “It was a journey we took together to help our clients successfully adopt the latest technologies in order to meet two business prerogatives that will never change – grow revenue and increase profitability.
“We have global access to the technological expertise and best practices in anything related to digital transformation. At the same time, we are intimately knowledgeable about the unique issues faced by businesses in Malaysia and the Southeast Asian region. This puts us in a great position to help businesses get on their journey to the digital economy in the most pragmatic way,” Phuah concluded.
