Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad launched SEGi University’s first mega international conference and exhibition on Industry 4.0, titles MYINDUSTRIES 2019 today.
“Malaysia has significantly progressed in industry 4.0 and regionally and it has taken the lead role in transforming industries. Our diversity, rapid industrial potential, fast-growing SMEs and digital infrastructure make Malaysia a potential international hub for high-tech industries” said Tun.
MYINDUSTRIES 2019 was put together with the aim of gathering various stakeholder to network and share their experiences, product and services in order to facilitate the effective roll-out IR4.0 in Malaysia
“Our national policy, launched a year ago is Malaysia’s response to IR.4.0 and beyond. With the policy in place we aim at driving Malaysia in becoming the Industry 4.0 hub in Southeast Asia and it is an opportunity for us to regain our status as Asian Tigers.
Digital transformation is expected to accelerate a sustainable future for Malaysia.’ Tun ends.
The three day “A global Revolution Business, Technology and Productivity” themed conference starts today till the 16th October 2019.
